WE SHOULD HAVE WON TODAY

It is another wasted occasion for Everton. With Liverpool beated at West Bromwich the Toffees could reduce the gap to just two points and get closer to the european positions of the Premierleague table. On the contrary, Aston Villa held us and we just got a point at Goodison Park. At least we overcame Bolton and kept the seventh place. Man United made a good step further to clinch their 19th title after they won at Upton Park and Arsenal didnt succeed in scoring at home against Blackburn. The Gunners have now 7 points to recover from the Red Devils. Chelsea is also out of the business after the draw at the Britannia Stadium against Stoke City. It was not a good day for Tottenham too: Spurs got only a draw at Wigan and are still three points behind Manchester City who will play tomorrow at home against Sunderland. These saturday fixtures have been really important for the relegation battle: BIrmingham City beat Bolton, West Brom beat Liverpool, Villa got a point at Everton, Wigan did the same against Spurs and only Wolves have lost 4-1 at Newcastle. Nobody is giving up! Now Wigan is at the bottom with 31 points, Wolves and West Ham have 32. Blackpool is at 33, Blackburn, Aston Villa and Birmingham City have 34, Fulham 35. Tomorrow Fulham-Blackpool is another key game for the survival.
