READING BREAKS INTO THE PLAYOFF ZONE

The Royals are now in the top six after a comfortable win at home against Portsmouth. Nottingham Forrest is now seventh with the same points but a worse goal difference. Millwall are coming close (just 3 points behind), while Burnley have lost a huge chance losing at home against Ipswich and at 57 points. Sven Goran Eriksson blames the drawn his side got at Leicester: a 3-3 which keeps Leicester City still 4 point behind the top six, with Watford and Hull, both defeated. Norwich won 6-0 against Scunthorpe and strenght his second place, while Cardiff are back in third after they scored 4 to beat Derby County and took advantage from the unexpected Swansea loss at Preston. Lees United remains fifth but they got much more confidence after their massive win against Forrest. Crystal Palace secured a crucial victory against Barnsley and they are now 7 points clear Sheffield United: the Blades will take on Queens Park Ranges in London on monday and if they lose they will probably have to say bye bye to the Championship League next season. Preston North End showed a great character beating Swansea but they are still at the bottom of the table.
